gave 20 young people with disabilities

A WEEK TO REMEMBER!

We’ve had the privilege of helping families of children with disabilities in Dzerzhinsk, Belarus, for many years.

(12 years ago, we released a book of their portraits. You can see it here, or even buy it here, proceeds to support New Thing.)

Last week, thanks to friends like you, our “Response of the Heart” team funded a special summer camp.

A joy none of these families could have experienced without you!

Fun, food, lots of laughter...

And our beloved “Response of the Heart” co-founder Lydia Danielevna showed up with a

SURPRISE BONUS GIFT: A karaoke machine!

So there was plenty of music and dancing!

(Yes, even Lydia Danielevna strutted her stuff, Belarusian-style.)

The karaoke machine will go back with the gang to Dzerzhinsk...

to bring these children and families many years of musical delight.
