Have a seat, take a rest, you’ve finally arrived at

A Very Happy Ending

Seems like “forever ago,” but it was only last October when it happened....

Generous friends of New Thing gave to provide brand-new sleeper-sofas for the final 7 homes at the Children’s Village orphanage in Kobryn.

It’s taken this long to get the final 4 sofas manufactured and delivered, but they’ve finally arrived!

Some orphans and house-parents are shy about being photographed, but they’re all hugely grateful.

The sleeper-sofas will mean a comfortable place to sleep when these orphans someday come home on breaks from college.

In the meantime, little brothers and sisters have lots of ways to enjoy the new furniture: studying, playing, napping, you name it.

When our longtime friend and photographer Oleg visited the Village this week, he also checked out the kitchens.

The kitchenware provided by friends of New Thing is being put to good use.

God bless all who give so generously to New Thing to help orphans, foster families, children with disabilities, the homeless, the poor, and others in need.

When a need arises, and a request for help comes to our “Response of the Heart” team, you make it possible to say “Yes!”
