LOVE: Not a destination...

It’s a journey

It was ten years ago that Kristina visited the hospital in the small Belarusian city of Ushachi, near the Russian border.

Friends of New Thing had already given generously to meet many of the needs here.

You provided beds and bedding, kitchenware, air purifiers, a microwave for the maternity ward...

And a big brand-new playroom in the children’s ward! (Director Nikolai’s favorite thing? Maybe!)

Kristina toured the facility to see firsthand the results of your generosity, and shared gifts with young patients and their parents

(along with interpreter Katya, in background, and other “Response of the Heart” team members).

Down through the years, over and over, you’ve helped the workers here care for those in need. Love doesn’t quit.
